The registered Nurse is responsible for:

• The initial assessment and supervision of the patient's care in their home.
• Evaluation of the patient's physical and emotional status.
• Evaluation of the patient's family and household member's ability to cope and care for their loved one.
• Carrying out the physician's "Plan of Care" and a report on the patient's progress will be made to his/her physician in a timely manner.
