Step
one
Complete the Employer
Registation Form available online and send your registration
fee of $300.00 to: Dubols
Home Care, 14440 Cherry Lane Court, Suite 205, Laurel, MD
20707 or download the
registration
form*, fill out, and send with your fee.
For your added convenience we do accept all major credit
cards.
Step
two
Once we have received your registration
form, one of our staffing coordinators will give you a call
to discuss your childcare needs.
At that time, we will compile the necessary information,
and use it to match your needs to the best suitable candidate.
Step
three
The family will receive from
Dubols Home Care, a background file on each perspective
nanny. With the guidance of Dubols Home Care, the family
will choose the candidate that they would like to interview.
The first interview with the client will be conducted at
a public place. If everything goes well, we will recommend
that a second interview be conducted with the candidate
at the family’s home. This would give both parties
the opportunity to familiarize with one another prior to
the placement.
Step
four
Once both the candidate and
the parent are in agreement, we will draw up a contract
between the nanny and the family. We require that both the
parents and the nanny complete and sign the contract and
return it to Dubols Home Care.
Step
five
Unlike other Nanny agencies,
Dubols Home Care does not charge a hefty placement fee.
Our placement fee of $300.00 is paid upon successful placement
of the nanny. This placement fee guarantees that should
a nanny not work out during the sixty days probationary
period, the family would be eligible for a replacement.
Step
six
The nanny starts work with her
new family!!
Every candidate that applies to Dubols
Home Care has to submit a detailed application. The application
includes a listing of their childcare experience and a list
of references. The staffing coordinators at Dubols Home
Care will do a complete reference check on the work history
and education over the telephone. The topics that will be
covered in the checks include verification and performance
level of their work history, verification of their educational
background, and the most important, is the telephone interview
with each previous childcare employer.
Each
candidate that is selected by a hiring family is subject
to undergo a background check after they have accepted an
offer. Dubols Home Care has procedures in place designed
to eliminate any candidate that have emotional stability
or records indicating a less than ideal approach to honesty
and responsibility. Our background checks includes the following:
- Criminal
check in every state that the candidate has resided.
- Motor
Vehicle check for driving record in every state that the
candidate has resided.
- Investigating
candidate for sex offences.
Placements are contingent upon these
results being positive. There is an additional fee for background
checks.
